A wonderful aroma with notes of lavender, spices, honey and thyme. The taste is earthy, slightly bitter, sweet, silky, similar to honey. Considered the quintessential English hop, East Kent Golding has long been considered one of the island's favorite hops for ales and pale ales. Mostly used for aroma.
