Oak Chips Light Toast (L)

Toasted Wood Chips for Wine, Whiskey, and Beer Aging
Wood chips are commonly used in the fermentation and aging of wine, whiskey, and brewing beer. They are especially suitable for stronger beverages, as a higher alcohol content helps to more effectively extract natural aromas and flavor compounds from the wood.
These toasted wood chips are the most popular choice among producers who use alternative aging methods. They allow for a similar result to barrel aging, but much faster and more conveniently than using wood cubes.
The chips are made exclusively from high-quality oak, which is dried naturally in the open air for at least 24 months. After this, the wood is additionally dried, and the matured raw material is carefully shredded and toasted to achieve a rich aroma and flavor.
Such chips are perfect for aging wine, whiskey, and beer, imparting depth, soft vanilla, caramel, or smoky notes to the beverages – depending on the toasting level.
