Château Abbey® malt is a more roasted pale malt. Gives a strong flavor of baked bread, nuts and fruits. Château Abbey® malt has a bitter taste that mellows with age and can be quite intense. Château Abbey® malt is typically used as a small portion of grain in beers that require a very rich color.
