Château Cara Clair is a Belgian specialty malt. It enhances the body and smoothness of beer, promotes foam formation and retention. This malt is also called dextrin malt and is the most common natural body and foam enhancer, which increases foam retention primarily due to its dextrins and other complex proteins. It creates soft biscuit notes in the beer aroma. Used in most light beer styles up to 30%.
