Columbus has a strong hop flavor, deep aroma and subdued citrus notes - perfect for dual use. Columbus hops are often used at the end of the brew and fresh have a herbal flavor with lemony citrus notes. Can be used in a variety of styles, especially American ales. Substitutes: Tomahawk and Zeus hops are genetically similar and can be substituted for Columbus hops with minimal impact on the final beer.
