Comet is a dual purpose hop.
Comet hops have a subtle aroma of wild American herbs and grapefruit.

Comet's flavor profile is based on a strong grapefruit accent. It has strong malting properties and is traditionally considered by brewers to be best suited as a malting agent for American-style lagers. Recently, however, it has been increasingly used as an aromatic hop in ales and IPAs.
