Lalvin ICV-D47™ - wine yeast

Lalvin D47™ is a strain from the Côtes-du-Rhône region of France that is best suited for making Chardonnay and other white grape varieties. The polysaccharides released into the must during fermentation help create a round, soft and full-bodied taste. When the wine is left on the lees, spicy, tropical and citrus notes emerge, and the wine is said to have a silky finish. This strain works very well with lactic acid bacteria.

Fermentation temperature 15° - 30°C
