A hybrid of Cascade (USA), Hallertau Blanc and Hüll Melon, Mandarina Bavaria originated in Hüll, Germany and was released for mass brewing in 2012. It is beneficial in both flavor and aroma and offers some sweet tangerine and citrus notes, especially when used in dry dressing.
