Mini design - ideal flow rate for small systems
Most conventional beer taps have a 10 mm diameter tip and spout, so a pint of beer can be poured in 10 seconds. This flow rate is ideal for high-traffic bars and commercial locations, but this high flow requirement is not necessary or desirable for all applications. In compact portable systems or homebrew systems, slower flow rates make it easier to control flow and further reduce foaming problems due to the small amount of liquid held in the tap body.
