Rice husks - a filtering medium

When brewing beer from malt and with a large amount of wheat, oats, rye or other grains without husks, the bottom of the filter can easily become clogged, making desalination very difficult. Rice husks are an ideal solution to prevent filter clogging and reduced efficiency.

Use 5% of the total amount of malt.
