Coriander gives beer a tangy citrus flavor. It is one of the most commonly used spices by brewers for both Christmas beers and strong lagers. It is also often used in wheat and saison beers. The seeds can be used whole or crushed. The seeds can be lightly toasted before adding to the beer to bring out their aroma.
